The waiting room is a part of a small system created for the Tsuki Project, and is where migrants will go after they die. Whereas migrants who die prior to the unlink are required to spend the remaining time here, waiting time after the unlink will be sped up to one systemspatial minute while the rest of Systemspace undergoes updates. Migrants' bodies here will be a cross between their Life and LFE bodies. Food and drink, albeit provided, are not necessary, and you cannot die in the waiting room. Furthermore, migrants will be allowed to access Infinity during their time there.

The Representative has stated that transferring migrants to the waiting room will represent the hardest part of the transfer, as it requires the exit from and transfer out of a closed System (Life).

The amount of time a migrant will spend in the waiting room is determined by this formula:
w=t+60*(y/a)+p
where
w represents the amount of time a migrant will spend in the waiting room;
t represents the amount of time until the TSUKI Representative dies (this is equivalent to the unlink if Project Miracle Ribbon fails, but not if it succeeds);
y represents the amount of time that is yet to pass in Life between the death of the migrant and the destruction of Life;
a represents the total time between the unlink and the destruction;
p represents the time between the death of the migrant and the unlink (this will be 0 for the vast majority of migrants)
and all units are in seconds.
